1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible great car - excellent condition, everything works, runs perfectly.Completely rebuilt 351W from the Lincoln Versailles. Bored .030" over with 10:1 forged flat top pistons. Standard main and rod bearings with stock connecting rods. Melling high volume oil pump. Ford GT40 style with a 3 angle valve job. Mild hydraulic flat tappet cam with aluminum roller rockers. Dual plane aluminum intake with a 735 CFM Holley Streetmaster carb. MSD 6AL ignition box, MSD Blaster II coil, and factory electronic distributor. Ceramic coated Hooker Super Comp long tube headers exit through a 2 1/2" Flowmaster exhaust system. rebuilt trans. and had it fine-tuned by a shop, specializes in performance ford transmissions and completely went through the transmission and converter. Buff-O-Matic custom tuned a shift kit for the car after we built throttle/kick down bracket and installed the necessary kick down arm. New ball joints, coil springs, leaf springs, shocks, 1 1/8" aftermarket front sway bar, and all bushings front and rear. Rebuilt 79 Lincoln Versailles power steering control valve, new steering ram, and original steering gear box from the Lincoln Versailles. Front disk brakes from Lincoln Versailles with rebuilt calipers
Rear axle 79 Lincoln Versailles 9" 3.70 ratio with a new 28 spline 4 pinion posi-traction center section. Ford motorsports rear disc brakes with drum style emergency brakes. New gas tank with sending unit, new brake hoses, original rebuilt power brake booster with a new master cylinder, New convertible top with glass window, pads, and well liner. All new weather stripping, top, doors, and deck lid. Hood scoop off of 69 or 70 Mustang.
