1962 Chrysler Newport

1962 Chrysler Newport two door. car has been painted at some time in it's past. job was not very good. car is now white.  replaced the timing chain with a double roller chain, new alternator, water pump, fuel pump, plugs. the car was running after all this work. been sitting some time probably have to tinker some to get it running. the engine is a 383 2 barrel instead of the 361 that car came with. when it was running it started up and ran quiet and no noises. the drivers side upper door hinge has 2 bolts broken removed entire hinge in hops that could get it fixed. the trunk pan is good shape with very little surface rust. some rust spots around lower rocker. can' get seat out to get house carpet out to see floor pans. trunk is full of parts. there is a new grill, and looks like found parts car and stripped it. there are 2 fender mount mirrors. these 2 doors are getting hard to find. front brakes are disc. they are piped up but have not tried to pressurize system. have been running it on small gas cans and have pluming from these gas cans to fuel pump suction. went through the carb about a year or so ago.
