1948 Willys Pickup. It has not been restored in the pure sense (frame-off restoration). I just made everything work. For example, it has an electronic distributor, quick release hubs on the front axle, electric windshield wipers, converted from 6 volt to 12 volt, etc. It has the original Flat-head 4 cyl engine with single barrel carburetor, 3-speed manual transmission, hi/low transfer case, new radiator. Seats have been recovered in vinyl, spray-in bed liner. The tires are the original 6.00 x 16 bias ply.
Have been using it to go to the dump, go get coffee, go to the hardware store, etc. It is a conversation piece. Every time its taken out somebody wants to talk about it. Have had no problems with it since its been fixed up. It always starts and runs.
