This 1962 Comet Wagon has been a Colorado car since new. It has 63,266 original miles, solid rust free vehicle (patina), undercoated, garage kept and driven locally for many years, then parked under carport until recently. It's powered by a 170 cid, 6-cylinder engine with a manual 3-speed transmission, shifter on the column, and has manual steering. It starts and drives well (cold blooded), brakes well, recently replaced clutch assembly, recent radial tires, seats original and good; needs dash pad, head liner, front floor mat; all four inner door panels need to be rebuilt, newer windshield, other glass ok, power tailgate glass works (sluggish), tailgate damaged (cobbled repair); lights, turn signals, horn work; roof rack; metal trim pieces ok (corner of windshield trim missing); gouge spot on hood (not in photo), otherwise only very minor spots from stone chips, door dings, etc. The current owner changed the instrument cluster voltage regulator in an attempt to get the fuel and temperature gauges working correctly, still not working, possibly not grounded properly. The door seals need to be replaced. Good title; would be good for restoration, for performance builder, or for V8 update driver.
