1954 Dodge M37 Military Truck.
It does run right now, but as it sat for 4 years the batteries in it are temporary replacements. This truck was disassembled, the body removed, and the frame sandblasted. Sheet metal and frame primed with Rustolium Rusty Primer and painted with Gillespie Enamel Semi-Gloss WWII #595-23070-11LFD paint. Engine is strong. 24 volt with newer Delta type alternator, but I have an original military alternator. Tires are General brand. Soft top and canvas seats. Stored inside since restoration. Fuel gauge does not work. It has turn indicators. Front axle has SELECTRO lock out hubs. Speedometer shows 42,600 miles, but not certifying that is the actual mileage. Pioneer rack on the tailgate antenna mount, gas can mount. Virtually no rust, or sheet metal damage for a truck this age. This truck was driven on the road. Approximate weight of #5600. The decals are of an actual unit that served in Vietnam.
There are some extra parts included with Gillespie paint.
