2001 Boxter with 87,500 miles. Very well mechanically sorted out. Was maintained by Porsche of Greenville SC for the first four years of its life. Has had extensive mid-life work completed by Skylar McKnight at Werkshop49 in Gainesville, FL 2022. IMS bearing not showing any signs of leaking or issues. Werkshop49 suggests waiting until clutch needs to be replaced and then do IMS at the same time, except the clutch is in very good condition, so you will most likely not be looking at clutch service for years.
There was minor right front end damage that shows no signs of any damage at all. Was fixed to factory specs. Has minor scratches and paint fade all over indicative of normal use. Interior is in good condition and shows minor signs of leather shrinkage , most likely due to the window being partially down when it rained. Top works perfectly with no problems. Has normal Porsche issue with key fob not working or working intermittent. This is a known problem with vintage Porsche Boxter's. Dealer can fix, but its approximately $600 and just not worth it. Will need tires in 6 months or so, but if it had new tires on it, I would drive it to Key West with no worries at all, it's that reliable. This is guilt free Porsche Driving, you can drive this car and not worry about putting miles on it.
