1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic

1979 Chevy Malibu Classis one-owner (before me) with 77K original miles that fires right up on the bump of the key. This car features the original 305 engine and TH350 transmission. The air conditioning has been updated to the required R134 refrigerant and blows very cold. We just purchased it from an estate sale because we know how rarely we see them available and didn'twant it in the hands of someone that wantsto cut it up. Most of these cars came with a V6 and 200 transmission and were stripped down and cutup for race cars. It needs some cosmetic touches and a good bath and polish to be perfect (interior trim panels, front and rear bumpers and bumper filler panels) but the car is all here. Very Solid car and especially the floorboards. Has a quarter size bubble of rust on the passenger front corner of the hood and a little paint peeling above driver. Couple of dings in roof. Not even rusted or rotted in the bottom corners of the glass like a lit of them are. Appears it may have had one repaint. I did my best to show everything good and bad in the pics. This is going to make a great daily driver for someone. We have removed the original steel rims that had 3 SS hubs caps on them (that will go with it if you want them also) and put a nice wide set of American Racing Turbo Thrust wheels and BFG Radial T/As on it. It rides and drives smooth like an 80s Cadillac.
