1941 Dodge WC 12 - ABSOLUTELY ONE OF A KIND (military based body) heavy duty, 4-wheel drive vehicle and a matching trailer. The vehicle is registered as a 1941 Dodge but virtually every part on this vehicle is new, refurbished, reconditioned, refinished, repainted or are repurposed parts, assemblies or metals from other vehicles, machinery, equipment or unusual pieces of interest. It is part a heavy street vehicle, off-road vehicle, custom truck, street and rat-rod. It is a creative, painstakingly detailed 10-year effort work of art. It is certainly the only one of its kind anywhere. You can be certain that there is nothing exactly like it.
There are numerous aftermarket accessories and dozens of creative custom improvements, most that involved fabricated metalwork. The body is of stock Dodge military configuration with the exception of a shortened bed. Though it appears to be in primer, it is finished in a Hot Rod Flatz Dove Gray paint. Almost every other piece originates from other places. (A list of parts used can be provided upon the sale). Some of the basis of the vehicle is a blueprinted Chevrolet 383 cubic inch "stroker" engine (430 + horsepower) with Holley EFI Sniper fuel injection, Hooker headers, and an aftermarket larger oil pan. (Approximately 1,000 miles on the engine and rebuilt truck) The manual transmission is a Muncie 465 4-speed with a Chevrolet New Process 205 transfer case attached. There is a Wilwood driveline emergency brake system and the Dana 60 front axle, with crossover steering and the GM 14 bolt rear axle being 4:10 ratio and the chassis is raised by 4 inch spring lifts. The customized dash is loaded with Stewart Warner gauges, there is an exceptional multi-speaker Kenwood sound system with controls mounted in the glove compartment. The glass is all tinted, the wiring was all professionally installed with fuses mounted in a custom box under the ratcheted seat for access. There are two custom stainless steel fuel tanks
