1969 AMC Javelin with an original steel 1970 hood 1970 fender extensions and 1970 front bumper. Still has all of the rare cold air induction parts inside the hood. Built 343ci motor with 4 speed manual trans. Runs and drives well. Black paint could use paint work, the clear coat is peeling on the roof and on the tops of the fenders. Could use all new interior. The tail lights have cracks. I have new black carpet and some pretty nice used rear inner door panels still in the boxes, that will come with the car. Fast car. Very fun to drive. Sounds amazing. Both windows repaired so they roll and stay on track, with the solid window track repair kit that AMC dudes use
Basically the car has had some recent extra special attention paid to it. If I were keeping the car, the next steps I would probably do are to add a rear spoiler and paint the hood and inside the trunk and throw in some new carpet and a headliner.
68,000 actual miles. Rebuilt title. Idk why, all I know is it became a rebuilt title car 30+ years ago, in the '90's. It has power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, a 343 and a 4 speed, running and driving well.
Hard to find another manual transmission Javelin in any condition anywhere in the country, let alone running and driving well, the manual trans ones are just not out there.
Not your run of the mill Javelin or stock 305 Camaro or 302 Mustang. Built 343ci. This thing rips. Take it to Irwindale Speedway Thursday nights and shake the earth.
