1956 Ford Ranch Wagon – Nearly Finished Project | 351W + C6 | Tons of New Parts & Chrome

This is a nearly completed project with 3 years of love and labor already invested. A solid, rust-protected body with fresh paint, rechromed trim, and a strong drivetrain make this classic wagon a perfect platform to finish and enjoy. Receipts in hand for all major work.

Drivetrain:

• 351 Windsor V8

  • 155–170 psi compression across all cylinders

  • Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, and cam kit

  • New carburetor and distributor

  • Custom-fitted headers with dual exhaust

• Rebuilt C6 automatic transmission

Suspension & Steering:

• New steering column and steering wheel

• Front end alignment needed

• Steering shaft needs final spot weld to box after alignment

Exterior:

• Bright blue & medium gray base coat/clear coat paint

• Rechromed front/rear bumpers, grille, hatch latch, and side window latches

• New windshield, door glass, and side glass (door glass needs minor adjustment)

• New rims, tires, and spinner caps

• Underside and floorpans undercoated and protected

Interior:

• Needs upholstery (seats and panels of your choice)

• New steering wheel installed

• Floors solid and coated

Electrical & Final Touches:

• Wiring needed for:

  • Radio

  • Heater

  • Gas gauge (tested and worked on bench; new gauge installed)

• Engine runs strong but needs timing and carb tuning (currently runs rich)
