Solid 1968 Ford Thunderbird equipped with the desirable factory 429ci Thunder Jet V8, rated at 360 HP, with a 4-barrel carburetor and C6 automatic transmission. Mostly original and appears complete, with many recent mechanical updates.
The car was recently driven approximately 15 miles home, running and shifting well. It needs finishing work, including reinstalling the rear seat and door panels, repairing windows/locks, gauges, radio power, and tracking down a vacuum leak. There is also a baseball-sized paint chip on the hood.
A great project for someone familiar with these cars who wants a mostly complete 429-powered Thunderbird with plenty of potential.
