1989 Gatsby Roadster
Unique hand-built neo-classic Gatsby-style roadster constructed by a career HD mechanic over approximately four years. Built on a 1972 Ford Fairlane chassis, this one-of-a-kind roadster has traveled only about 1,700 miles since completion.
Powered by a Ford 400 CID V8 with 4-barrel carburetor and backed by a Ford C4 automatic transmission. Features Dupont Imron cream/white paint with mint green fenders, tan soft top and tuck-and-roll interior, wood dash, full gauges, chrome wire wheels with whitewalls, side-mount spare, lake-style side pipes, and wood running-board accents.
Runs strong, shifts clean. Solid driver, not a project.
Includes a 1987 mid-build photo of the original builder completing the body, adding to the history and uniqueness of this special car.
Honest note: cosmetic peeling is present on the rear white panel near the fuel filler, believed to be from fuel spillage.
