1986 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 — Extensively Rebuilt
This 1986 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 underwent an extensive rebuild and refurbishment in 2022–2023, with major upgrades throughout the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, interior, and exterior.
Power comes from a rebuilt fuel-injected 5.0L (302) V8 backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. The drivetrain features 4.10:1 gearing, limited-slip rear differential, rebuilt driveline, new U-joints and axle shafts, and Warn manual-locking hubs. Cooling was upgraded with a new aluminum radiator.
The suspension is equipped with a Solo Motorsports lift kit, Bilstein quad front shocks, Heim-joint radius arms, and a RockJock Antirock sway bar. Upgraded four-wheel disc brakes with braided stainless-steel hoses provide improved stopping power. It rides on 15-inch steel wheels with 31×10.50 Falken Rubitrek A/T01 tires.
Inside, the Bronco features refreshed upholstery, front captain’s chairs, power windows and locks, air conditioning, a Tuffy center console, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. The exterior was refinished in an attractive Eddie Bauer-style metallic blue and tan two-tone.
Offered with service and restoration records, an accident-free CARFAX, and a clean title, this Bronco combines classic styling with a well-executed mechanical and suspension rebuild.
