2008 Chevrolet Corvette - Indy Pace Car -***OFFICIAL LAUNCH VEHICLE*** This is the official promotional launch vehicle for the 30th anniversary Indy Pace Car. Only 500 of these vehicles were built. Although this is the 3rd of the 500 built, the first two were run through the manufacturing line for validation and quality control purposes prior to the official promotional launch. The vehicle comes with a binder of pictures illustrating the launch as the vehicle went through the manufacturing process including a letter from the Corvette's Chief Engineer who provided this car to a close acquaintance who gave the car as a gift to his wife for her 30th wedding anniversary. The official Indy Pace Car stickers were removed by the previous owner. The car has been garaged kept and has not been in the rain since 2015.
