Description

1966 Mustang Coupe – clean Michigan title.
Good 20 footer.
Fuel injected 302 and T5, five speed manual transmission – both from a 1991 Mustang GT.

The good:
Engine and tranny as noted above.
Explorer rear end swap, which means it has an 8.8 in, pretty much bullet proof rear end with a 3.73 limited slip diff and disc brakes.
Disc brakes up front (so 4 wheel discs) with Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve.
Mustang II style-front suspension.
New gas tank.
Newer, updated interior. Currently Pony style though originally would have been standard.
Wood steering wheel.
17x7 wheels with spinners. These are 2010-2014, stock, OEM Mustang wheels.
Aftermarket stereo hidden in the glove compartment.
Under dash A/C unit. Fan works but it is not fully hooked up, but it is serviceable.
Newly restored under dash wiring harness. This is typically a huge expense to replace, but a guy in FL is well known for restoring wiring harnesses and he did a fantastic job.
Dual exhaust with Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers. They are a bit loud, but they sound great.
Long tube headers--which add to the sound a torque.
Lot of other stuff/and extra parts.
I have lots of receipts and pics of work done along the way.

The issues to address:
Currently not running as I am in the middle of a top end rebuild. I have GT40 heads, GT40 lower/upper intakes, larger throttle body. Just put in a Comp Cam, but haven’t had time to button it up yet.
It is a good 20 footer, but could definitely use some paint.
Rear end sags. I have a brand new pair of KYB Excel-G shocks to be installed, and it may or may not need new leaf springs. Not a huge job.

Overall, it’s a blast to drive and it will be even more fun with the added power from the new cam and intake parts. You could get the car back on the road in a weekend. Sadly, I’ve just lost interest/don't have the time and am ready to move on. I can share more pics/videos on request. Car is currently garaged is Grosse Ile.
