1973 vw bug, with a 1835cc motor and freeway flyer trans. Runs and drives and stops great.
The linkage in the drivers door needs attention, due to only the outside handle working, I think it could use a trans mount but it should be fine, the passenger side tail light needs to be wired, blinkers need to be wired, 2 of the tires are weather cracked, one of the CV boots has a tear, the drivers seat rocks slightly not really sure why, I noticed the speedometer wasn’t working the last time I was in it. I bought it from a guy who owned it for twelve years and it sat for most of that time, so when I bought it, I took my time and went through everything, and got it going.
However it does drive good and has a lot of after market parts such as dual carb setup, lowered, disc brakes up front, short shifter, catch can, a sound system and others I’m sure I’m forgetting. It is a real minimal rust car and I have two seats to go with it that match the two in it so you could swap the drivers to match the original passenger or swap the passengers to match the modern drivers seat.
Does have a clean title.
