?? Why the Buick Grand National Still Dominates the Market
The Buick Grand National isn't just a car—it's a symbol of 1980s rebellion, turbocharged power, and GM’s surprise knockout punch to the V8 era. Powered by a 3.8L turbocharged V6, these cars could take on Corvettes, Camaros, and even some European exotics of their time. Add the stealthy black-on-black look, and you’ve got a car that was—and still is—seriously cool.

?? What to Look for When Buying a Buick Grand National
Buying a GN isn’t like buying just another classic car. Here’s what serious buyers focus on:
VIN & RPO Verification – Ensures it’s a real Grand National or GNX, not a clone
Turbocharger Condition – Boost leaks or smoking turbos can be costly
Paint Quality – Factory black paint is hard to restore—look for swirl-free, original examples
Interior Wear – Look for original seat fabric, headliners, and dash pads
Mileage Authenticity – Under 30K miles? It should be documented with matching paperwork
