1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster town sedan Deluxe Originally manufactured at the GM assembly plant in St. Louis, MO, in May 1948, this Fleetmaster Town Sedan Street Rod is a ground-up custom build (May 2007) with comfort in mind. This Chevrolet cruiser features plump bench seats with dual arm rests, AC & heat, power steering and power brakes. It's quite the long-distance cruiser. Looking at the exterior you'll find two-tone metallic brown and beige paint, with custom pinstriping. The metallic brown lights up once under direct sunlight. A completely new interior (seats, side panels, head liner, carpet, armrests, sun visors, windlace, etc.) carries over the same color combination with a mixture of both leather and cloth. Powering this 40’s era beauty is a Chevy small block 350-CID/5.7 liter V8, keeping it true to the Chevrolet nature. Backing the 350 CID/5.7-liter engine is a GM 700R4 automatic 4-speed transmission with overdrive, and a Ford 9-inch axle/rear end, perfect for the highway or drives around town. Other options include Vintage Air Conditioning, 1,600 watt Bluetooth, AM/FM/CD radio with remote control, ten CD changer, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power bench seat, tilt wheel, seat belts, and chrome wheels with radial tires. The chrome wheels offer moon style hub caps giving it that classic hot rod look.
