This '69 Mach 1 has underwent a complete rotisserie restoration and has only clocked about 100 miles since. The paint & body were done to mimic the original Ford finish with some minimal texture to the paint. The paint color was changed for the restoration from Meadowlark Yellow to Candy Apple Red. The car was restored with mostly NOS components so the car has a very authentic feel. Take a good look at the pics as there are over 100 of them.
The 428 Super Cobra Jet engine was rebuilt to stock spec's. It has the correct crank shaft, hatchet balancer and Le Mans connecting rods that were specific to the Super Cobra Jet. The Holley 735 cfm carburetor, cylinder heads, intake manifold, carburetor and engine block are all correct CJ pieces. The oil cooler is the correct SCJ specific set up as well. The block is not the original but has been restamped with the original VIN.
The 3.91 Nodular Case differential with 31-spline axles has been correctly detailed.
The 'Super-Toploader' is the correctly coded transmission and has the correct paint & chalk markings. The factory shifters were known for being a bit temperamental and this one is true to the original.
The electrical system was restored including the alternator, voltage regulator, wiring, etc. It works correctly as stock with the exception of the tachometer which just quit working and is out of its warranty period from the gauge restoration shop.
The interior was completely restored and looks very nice. The soft trim is all quite supple and very comfortable. The chrome dash trims and the like were all restored or replaced with NOS components so the interior is basically what you would have been greeted with on Ford's showroom floor back in 1969.
