2011 Road Trek Adventurous RS is on a Mercedes 3500 Dual Rear Wheel Sprinter Chassis with only 68,500 miles!
It is a fully self-contained unit. It has a rear electric power sofa that converts into king-size or twin-like beds. It is equipped with a rear table for easy dining, kitchen counter with microwave/convection oven, 2 burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, built-in coffee maker and sink. Behind the driver’s seat is a built in enclosed cabinet with an extended counter top desk and removable stool. There is upgraded LED lighting throughout the unit and there are additional 110 volt outlets, with UBS connections. There is a new TV that can be connected to the sound system with a DVD/disk player. The unit is equipped with a fully enclosed shower, sink, and toilet area. This RoadTrek has the optional interchangeable wardrobe with the passenger side seat.
RV Size: It is just under 22’ long, 9’7” high and 6’-8’’ wide. As Boondockers, we like our unit because it parks in most standard vehicle parking spaces.
Engine: Mercedes 3.0 L CRD V6 turbo diesel (154 HP) with a 26-gallon fuel tank. It has a 5 speed automatic transmission. This vehicle can tow a trailer, car, or boat up to 5,000 lbs. It can get 23 miles to the gallon when driven with care.
RV Power Features: 750 watt Inverter with charger to deliver 12 and 110 volts, two lithium deep cycle batteries and a 2.5 KW Onan MicroLife propane remote start generator. Chassis has a 220-amp battery. It also has smoke and CO detectors.
Sleep Accommodations: The rear twin beds can be used as such or can be put together to make a King-size bed. It sleeps 2 adults in the back and I child in the front. The windows are tinted for privacy. There are two sets of shades (daytime and room darkening) for maximum privacy.
Kitchen: Beautiful granite countertop with a 2 burner propane cook top, convection/ microwave, and a 3.8 cu. Ft. refrigerator with freezer that runs on 12 volt battery, 110 VAC or propane. A quick LPG connection.
