Engine, drivetrain, steering, suspension and brakes:
Original carbureted 4.9L 300ci straight-six engine. 360k miles that was rebuilt twice by the first owner. Gets 15-20 mpg. Fresh Napa air filter. Fresh Napa oil filter and Rotella 10W-30 oil.
Engine runs smoothly and quietly. Has a brand new water pump, thermostat and v-belts plus all fresh coolant.
Original 4-speed RUG SR-OD manual transmission.
Original Ford 9” limited-slip rear differential.
Chunky Accelera M/T tires put on in 2021 and driven less than 2000 miles. All 5 original steel wheels including spare, and original dog dish hubcaps.
Original suspension is in good condition.
Power steering and alignment are perfect.
Power brakes are good. Disc front, drum rear. No ABS.
Paint, body and frame:
Original two-tone faded paint and patina.
Original body is straight over all, except for right rear corner. Outside surface rust spots have been treated with rust converter. Areas of floor cancer have been cut out and patched. Overall in fair to good condition.
Original frame has only surface rust and is solid and in good condition, except for the latter-most cross-section of the frame near the back bumper that was shorn in half due to an error made in a recovery.
Interior and electrical:
Original seat upholstery, door and side panels.
Driver seat is worn.
Carpet and headliner have been stripped.
Reflectix insulation installed in door and side panels, and along ceiling.
All original glass and power windows.
Power locks on all doors work.
Cruise does not work, but is all there.
Intermittent wipers/washer works.
All running lights, brake lights and blinkers work properly.
Speedometer/odometer, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level and alternator gauges all work.
Original AM/FM stereo works but speaker signal is intermittent.
Dual fuel tanks and selector work great. 38 gallon total
